Vintage on the hook...

In order to decipher this vintage pineapple square, I've found that a glass of wine isn't a bad idea. Good thing I married a winemaker...

This square is central to my Pom Pom submission, which is due right around the corner. I've been studying this square for a few days and I admittedly have frogged my swatch more times than I'd like to admit. The motif isn't difficult, it's the vintage directions that are driving me to drink - they assume A LOT, and you know what they say about ass-u-me-ing...

Despite my frustrations with vintage punctuation and wild references to previous rows that lead to future rows, I will finish this motif tonight!....quite possibly with more than a few glasses of this fine GSM...
